Webster Named MAC Men's Singles Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference office announced today that sophomore Nathaniel Webster has earned MAC Men's Singles Player of the Week honors.Â
Webster went 2-0 in league action last weekend on the top court for the Cardinals. Webster took down both of his opponents in straight sets.
Webster started the weekend off with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Western Michigan's Peter Kuszynski.
On Sunday, Webster claimed a 7-6, 6-4 win against Northern Illinois' top player Oliver Valentinsson, helping the Cardinals to a 5-2 defeat over the Huskies.
With the wins, Webster has improved his overall spring record to 8-4 and 2-1 in MAC play.
The Ball State men's tennis team will play at Binghamton Friday. First serve is at 1 pm ET.
