Hischer Named MAC Women's Diver Of The Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - - Ball State freshman Maddy Hischer has been named the Mid-American Conference Women's Diver of the Week after a pair of strong performances last weekend.

Hischer tallied three event wins for the Cardinals over a pair of meets, starting with a dominating effort in the scheduled diving-only dual versus Anderson (Jan. 28) in which she won both the 3M (307.20) and 1M (279.68) competitions.

She followed by capturing the top spot on 1M (262.70) at Sunday's Butler Invitational (Jan. 29) in her lone event at Fishers High School.

Hischer, and the rest of the Ball State women's swimming & diving program, return to action Feb. 22-25 for the MAC Championships hosted by Miami.
