Twenty Football Cardinals Earn Academic All-MAC Distinction

MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State University placed twenty student-athletes on the Mid-American Conference Football Academic All-MAC Team that was announced on Friday. A total of 184 student-athletes were named to this year's squad, with the Cardinals (20) and Northern Illinois (24) the top two producers of student-athletes to boast at least a 3.20 GPA and participate in at least six games.

Seven of Ball State's twenty Academic All-MAC honorees are repeat recipients of the honor. The Cardinals have had at least 15 Academic All-MAC selections in each of the past six seasons and have had 150 total honorees in eight years under head coach Mike Neu.
