2023: Played all 12 games with his lone start coming at Northern Illinois (Nov. 7) … appeared mostly on special teams ... tallied two solo tackles and one assisted tackle.
2022: Appeared in nine games with no starts ... finished the season with three tackles - two at Georgia Southern (Sept. 24) and one in the season finale at Miami (Nov. 22).
2021: Played in four games ... first career game action came at Wyoming (Sept. 18), where he made two tackles ... also appeared in games against Toledo (Sept. 25), Army (Oct. 2) and Western Michigan (Oct. 9).
2020: Did not see game action.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters from head coach Fredrick Rauch at Arrowhead High … 3-star recruit via 247Sports … two-time team captain … second team all-conference as a senior … helped the Warhawks reach the playoffs three years in a row … also participated on the track team where he competed in the long jump, high jump, triple jump and 100-meter dash.
PERSONAL: Son of Lamon and Anne Elrod … has two sisters and one brother.
