Ball State Hosts Northern Illinois, Travels to Bowling Green

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State soccer team is back in action for two more Mid-American Conference matchups this week. On Thursday, BSU hosts NIU at the Briner Sports Complex at 4 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 2, Ball State heads northeast for a contest at Bowling Green at 1 p.m.
BSU enters the week's action with a 2-3-4 overall mark and a 1-0-1 mark in MAC play. The Huskies hold a 4-3-2 overall record and are 1-1 in conference matches, while the Falcons are 2-3-3 overall and 0-0-2 in MAC matches.
Last Time Out
The Cardinals opened MAC play last week and posted a 1-0-1 record. Ball State recorded a 2-2 draw with Miami and followed that up with a dominate 5-0 performance against Eastern Michigan. Delaney Caldwell led BSU with three goals for the two matches, including two against EMU. Avery Fenchel added a goal in each match and moved her streak to four-consecutive matches with a goal. Jenna Dombrowski and Tori Monaco each produced their first goal of the season.
