Colorado Springs, Colo. - Ball State men's volleyball senior Kaleb Jenness along with his former teammate and alumnus Quinn Isaacson recently helped the USA Men's Volleyball team earn the bronze medal at the Pan Am Cup on Sunday in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.
"It's a great honor to represent our country and specially to medal at an event. I'm very excited to see what the future holds for us," said Isaacson.
The U.S. led in kills (56-42) and had a .463 hitting efficiency behind Isaacson who dished out 86 assists in four sets (25-16, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21) against Chile.
"I'm proud to represent the United States of America," said Jenness. "I'm very thankful of the opportunity and the learning experiences that I've had with USA Volleyball. I look forward to many more opportunities."
Isaacson recently graduated from Ball State and joined the USA Volleyball team this summer. The First Team NVA/AVCA All-American honoree had a successful senior year with the Cardinals as he earned All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association First Team and All-MIVA Tournament accolades.
Jenness will return to the court this season BSU. The outside hitter received First Team NVA/AVCA All-American honors and was voted the MIVA Player of the Year as well as earning the MIVA Tournament MVP while also tallying First Team All-MIVA honors.
Isaacson along with Jenness helped Ball State to a 23-4 overall record along with a MIVA regular and tournament championship. Ball State ended its magical season in May at the 2022 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship semifinals inside UCLA's Pauley Pavilion after falling to eventually champions Hawai'i in a 3-2 battle.
