Klein Named MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly Player and Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday. Sam Klein was named MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week after an unbelievable weekend on the mound for Ball State.
Klein solidified his role as a closer as he collected three saves over the weekend in all three games the Cardinals won. He retired all seven batters he faced. He recorded a 0.00 ERA and added two strikeouts.
Ball State returns to the Ball Diamond at First Merchants Ballpark Complex on Friday, March 18, as Bowling Green comes to Muncie for a four-game MAC series. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
