Adams Earns MAC Singles Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Graduate senior Chris Adams of the Ball State men's tennis team has been tabbed Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.Â
Adams came though in a big way for the Cardinals in their match at Dayton last weekend, leading BSU to a 4-3 victory over the Flyers on Saturday
Adams would be the final match on the court, a situation he has been in many times and has prevailed. Over the years, Adams has been clutch in these situations, and Saturday the result was no different. Adams would take down Will Harper at the No. 4 position (6-4, 3-6, 7-6) to win the fourth and final point for the Cardinals.Â
With the win from Adams, Ball State was able to snap Dayton's 17-match home winning streak.
The Ball State men's tennis team will play today at Butler. First server is at noon in the Butler Bubble.
