The Cardinals Fly South for Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship

NASSAU, The Bahamas – The Ball State men's basketball team made a trip to The Bahamas for the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. The Cardinals open the tournament against the Vermont Catamounts on Friday, Nov. 25, at noon.
Ball State has a chance to play either Missouri State or UNCW in the second game of the trip on Saturday. On Sunday, Ball State will play either North Texas, San Jose State, Oakland, or Long Beach State.
Last Time Out
Ball State is coming off an 86-72 victory against IU-South Bend in the team's last contest and improved to 3-1 on the year. Jaylin Sellers led the way with a career-high 18 points and a career-best 14 rebounds as he picked up his first career double-double. For the second time this season, the Cardinals had six different players score in double figures. Payton Sparks finished the game with 17 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists. Jarron Coleman added 12 points, four rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal. Demarius Jacobs produced a career-high three blocked shots to accompany his 12 points, game-high five assists, three rebounds, and one steal. Mickey Pearson Jr. posted 12 points to go along with his nine boards and two assists. Jalen Windham closed out the double-digit scorers with 12 points as he added four assists and one steal.
