Snyder Tabbed MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

Fifth-year punter earns weekly award for first time in career
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ball State punter Nathan Snyder was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Snyder totaled six punts Saturday and averaged 42 yards per boot. The fifth-year punter pinned Wyoming inside the 20-yard line three times.
The Marysville, Ohio native did not allow one yard of returns by the Cowboys and has yet to allow any punt return yardage so far this season.
Snyder and the Cardinals return to action Saturday, Sept. 25 for Family Weekend and the opener for Mid-American Conference play when they welcome Toledo. Kick time is set for 2 p.m. ET inside Scheumann Stadium.
