Men's Tennis Ranked Sixth in the ITA Division I Regional Rankings

Adams and Kovacevic Tabbed Top 10 In Doubles
MUNCIE, Ind. - The final spring 2021 Oracle ITA Division I Men's Regional Rankings have come out with the Cardinals earning a No. 6 ranking in the Ohio Valley region. Ball State's No. 1 duo of Chris Adams and Danilo Kovacevic also were ranked in the top 10 in doubles.
The ITA Ohio Valley region is made up of NCAA Division I men's tennis programs from parts of Indiana and Ohio along with neighboring states Kentucky and Tennessee.Â
The Cardinals had a very successful spring season checking in at No. 58 in the ITA Oracle national rankings and was one of three MAC programs in the top 60 in an impressive year for the league. Western Michigan was No. 44, and Northern Illinois was No. 60.
Ball State finished the season at 17-5 overall and 6-4 in conference play. The Cardinals won 10 consecutive matches at one point, including a victory over a Notre Dame team that ended the year at No. 33 in the rankings.
Adams and Kovacevic wrapped up their impressive doubles play with a 7-3 overall mark on the top court for the Cardinals and finished league play with a 5-2 ledger.
