Women’s Golf Chasing Only Host BG at Dolores Black Falcon Invite

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Hadley Moritz and Kiah Parrott led the Ball State women's golf team into contention Saturday at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
Moritz and Parrott bot carded rounds of even-par 72 at Stone Ridge Golf Club. Both made three birdies and three bogeys over the opening 18 holes of this weekend's 36-hole event. They will enter the final day just one shot behind Bowling Green's Nichole Cox.
Likewise, in the team race, Ball State trails only the host Falcons. The Cardinals also counted scores of 76 from Liz Kim and 81 from Morgan Lewis on the way to a team score of 301 (+13) on Saturday. Bowling Green leads the way at 294 (+6).
The Cardinals lead the other six MAC teams in the field outside the host Falcons.
The final round will be played Sunday with Ball State's tee times set to begin at 10:20 a.m. This weekend's tournament is Ball State's last before the MAC Championships.
