CLEVELAND, Ohio - Thibault de Negri and Parrish Simmons of the Ball State men's team have garnered Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week yet again this season. The twosome also earned the award on March 3.

The duo has helped Ball State to a No. 44 and No. 46 Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Men's Tennis national ranking for back-to-back weeks.

De Negri and Simmons paired up on court two and clinched the doubles point against Butler this weekend in the Cardinals' lone match of the week.Â

Simmons and de Negri took down the Butler Bulldogs' Drew Michael and Borja Miralles by a 6-4 decision. The twosome helped Ball State later earn a 6-1 victory over the Bulldogs while also moving the No. 46 Cardinals overall record to 12-3 on the season.

The Ball State men's tennis team resumes Mid-American Conference action this weekend on the road at Binghamton on April 2 and will then close out the two-match road swing at Buffalo on Sunday, April 4. First serve for both matches is at 11 a.m. ET.
