Women’s Basketball Rolls Past Oakland City in Exhibition Play

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State women's basketball team put on an exciting show for fans inside Worthen Arena Wednesday afternoon, earning a 122-26 victory over Oakland City in exhibition play.
A total of 13 different players saw action for the Cardinals, with 12 of the 13 scoring at least two points. The high scorers for BSU had 23 and 20 points, respectively.
On the glass, all 13 Cardinals who saw action had at least one rebound. BSU also forced the Mighty Oaks into 44 total turnovers, while committing just 11 of their own.
The Ball State women's basketball team officially opens the 2021-22 season next Tuesday, when it hosts Milwaukee at 11:30 a.m. for Field Trip Day.
