Men’s Tennis Advances In Singles & Doubles At BSU Invite

Day Two Results
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team continued play at its own Fall Invitational Saturday at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. The three-day event will conclude on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
The Cardinals advanced true freshman Nathaniel Webster in the title match of the Flight A Singles as did his teammate Thibault de Negri. Both Webster and de Negri won a match in straight sets and each one also claimed three set thrillers over their respective opponents.
Newcomer Petar Petrovic also advanced in the Flight B Singles main draw and will take on Marquette's Pablo Dale on Sunday in the title match. Petrovic only gave up three points today in his two competitions defeating Elijah Zifferblatt of Marquette and IUPUI's Jan Jauch, both in straight sets.
In doubles play, Danilo Kovacevic and Chris Adams will compete in the Doubles Flight A championship while their teammates Abe Wojtalik and Petrovic will play in the Flight B title match.
