Rife Announces Soccer's Newest Signing Class
February 26, 2020 | Soccer
The Cardinal coaches hit the recruiting trail hard to bring in players from Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Ohio and Canada. BSU's defense will get a boost with five new defenders and a goalkeeper while two midfielders and two forwards also join the team. Several of the recruits played multiple positions in high school.
"I'm really excited about this incoming class," said Rife. "I think this group has a lot of experience already coming in with multiple high school state championships and club success. They are going to add a lot of depth to an already strong roster and hopefully be able to push our returning players to be better."
A list of the players and information on each can be read below. A video with thoughts from the coaching staff on each signee can be viewed here.
