Liz Kim Named MAC Golfer of the Week

Junior finished runner-up at the Battle at Boulder Creek
MUNCIE, Ind. -- After finishing runner-up at Ball State's first event of the spring season, Liz Kim was named the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week.
Kim took second place at the Battle at Boulder Creek outside Las Vegas, finishing just one shot behind Drake's Haeri Lee. The junior from Dublin, Ohio, was consistent throughout the tournament. She led after round one and was second after both the second and third rounds.
Kim's opening-round 74 matched the lowest score of any player in the field for the week. She led Ball State to a second-place team finish in windy conditions at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Cardinals will return to action Feb. 21-23 with their annual trip to the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational in Arizona.
