Justin Hall Named to Hornung Award Honor Roll

Hall registered 241 all-purpose yards in last week’s win over Eastern Michigan
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State wide receiver Justin Hall was one of four players nationally named to this week's Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll.

Hall touched the ball 15 times three different ways for 241 all-purpose yards as the Cardinals beat Eastern Michigan 38-31 at home last week. He caught seven passes for 55 yards, carried the ball four times for a career-high 70 yards and returned four kickoffs for 116 yards. Two of his kickoff returns went to near midfield.

Hall, the nation's active leader with 219 career catches, leads the country in all-purpose yards per game (243.5) through two contests in 2020. The senior from Douglasville, Georgia, has 179 receiving yards, 87 rushing yards and 221 return yards plus has scored touchdowns both rushing and receiving.

The Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse, now in its 11th season, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commission to honor football legend and Louisville native Paul Hornung. The winner and his family will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award dinner at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville in March 2021.
