Brown Tabbed MAC West Division Player of The Week For Third Time This Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ball State junior forward Oshlynn Brown (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) has earned Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week honors for the third time this season. Brown has now received the honor four time over her career as a Cardinal.
Brown averaged a double-double in Mid-American Conference action last week, scoring 20.0 points per contest while pulling down 11.0 rebounds per game. Brown started the week Wednesday with a career high 29 points, helping the Cardinals to an 86-80 overtime win at Bowling Green.
On Saturday, Brown completed a crucial old fashioned 3-point play while also making her free throws down the stretch to help propel the Cardinals past Eastern Michigan. Saturday. The 59-54 win over the Eagles marked the seventh-straight victory for Ball State.
Against the Eagles, Brown recorded her eighth double-double of the season, and the 25th of her career, scoring 11 points and adding a game-high 14 rebounds. She also helped Ball State remain unbeaten in MAC play.
The Ball State women's basketball team will battle Central Michigan for the top spot in the MAC Wednesday in Mount Pleasant, Michigan at 7 p.m. Both the Cardinals and the Chippewas remain the only undefeated teams in conference play.
