CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ball State junior forward Oshlynn Brown (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) has earned Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. Brown has now received the honor three times over her career as a Cardinal.
In the Cardinals' lone contest last week, Ball State was trailing 75-73 against Western Kentucky with 18.9 seconds, Brown came through with a clutch shot to send the game into overtime. Brown notched season highs in points (22) and rebounds (14) against the Lady Toppers for her fourth double-double of the season and 21st double-double of her career. She also shot 67 percent from the field (8-of-12) along with going 6-of-10 from the charity stripe. Brown also pulled down 11 defensive rebounds.
After last weekend's performance, Brown now has over 600 rebounds for her career (608), along with 27 double-digit rebounding performances and has scored in double-figures 42 times for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals will compete in the Lobo Christmas Classic (Dec. 18-20) in Albuquerque, N.M. on the campus of the University of New Mexico. Ball State will face Loyola Marymount (Dec. 18), Providence (Dec. 19) and New Mexico (Dec. 20).
