Oshlynn Brown Earns MAC West Player of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - For the second time in her career, Ball State junior forward Oshlynn Brown has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week.
Brown registered two double-doubles this past week, helping the Cardinals beat Big East opponents, Xavier (70-49) and in-state rival Butler (74-70). Brown now has 20 double-doubles for her career and 27 double-digit rebounding performances. Against Xavier, Brown led all scorers with 19 points and 12 rebounds.
On Saturday, she had a 10-point, 11-rebound performance in helping the Cardinals to move past the Bulldogs.
For the week, Brown averaged 14.5 points per game while shooting 65 percent from the field. She also led the Cardinals with 11.5 rebounds per contest.
The Ball State women's basketball team will continue non-conference action when it travels to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving break. The Cardinals will participate in the first-ever Bahamas Hoopfest where Ball State will face Lehigh on Thursday at 4 p.m. and Big Ten foe Wisconsin on Friday at 7 p.m.
