Moritz Paces Women’s Golf on Day 2 in Louisville

Cardinals will wrap up final fall event Sunday

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. -- Hadley Moritz led the Ball State women's golf team with a 3-over-par 75 in Saturday's second round at the Cardinal Cup.
Ball State dropped two spots into 13th place with a team score of 316 for the day. Manon Tounalom's 77 was the Cardinals' second-best round Saturday at the University of Louisville Golf Club.
No. 20 Kentucky, the top-ranked team in the field, moved to the top with a 36-hole mark of 584 (+8). The Wildcats are four strokes clear of Campbell and Louisville with one round to play. This week's 17-team field features 10 squads ranked among the nation's top 100.
Moritz is the top Ball State player on the individual leaderboard in a tie for 28th place out of 95 golfers competing.
The third and final round will be played Sunday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
