Cardinals Ranked No. 14 in Latest AVCA Poll

MUNCIE, Ind. – After a successful opening weekend that saw the Ball State men's volleyball team defeat Princeton and New Jersey Institute of Technology, the Cardinals cracked the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-15 Poll for the first time this year, coming in at No. 14.

The poll was released just hours before Ball State plays host to the number three team in the country, UC Irvine. The Anteaters were ranked fourth in the original preseason poll while BSU was the first team out of the rankings.

Ball State will waste no time trying to prove its place in the polls as it will travel to take on No. 5 Brigham Young and No. 11 Stanford later this week.
