Men’s Golf Set for Season Opener at Golfweek Conference Challenge

Cardinals will tee it up starting Sunday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
The Ball State men's golf team begins the 2018-19 season this week with a trip to Iowa for the Golfweek Conference Challenge.
The Cardinals are one of 16 teams in the field, including six that finished last season ranked among the top 100 in the country.

About the Cardinals
Timothy Wiseman returns to lead the Cardinals as the lone senior, fresh off a summer that included appearances in the U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur. The first BSU player ever to qualify for the U.S. Open while still in school, Wiseman capped last season with a third-place finish at the Mid-American Conference Championships.
Sophomores CJ Jones and Jack Cunningham are back for year two. Cunningham played in every event a season ago. Meanwhile, Keegan Bronnenberg and Yianni Kostouros will make their Ball State debuts. Bronnenberg, a Muncie Central product, sat out last year after transferring from Fort Wayne, while Kostouros is a true freshman.
