Three Men’s Tennis Players Receive Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Juniors Conner Andersen, Marko Guzina and Nemanja Guzina of the Ball State men's tennis team have been named to the 2018 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, as announced by the league office. This is the second time for Andersen and the Guzina brothers to earn the honor.
Andersen owns a 3.950 GPA in accounting. He played in 32 matches for the Cardinals this season, primarily at the No. 4 position. Andersen also found success at the No. 2 doubles position alongside teammate Marko Guzina.
Marko captured All-MAC Second Team honors this season. It was the second postseason award for Marko, who was voted to the MAC All-Tournament Teamlast year. His twin brother Nemanja also earned All-MAC Second Team accolades this year. The Toronto, Canada, natives both own a 3.831 and a 3.662 GPA, respectively in finance.
To be eligible for this award a student must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50% of the contests in the particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
