
Cardinals to Challenge Grand Valley State Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State University swimming and diving team is back in action on Saturday (Nov. 17) afternoon as it travels to take on Grand Valley State.
The meet is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. ET in GVSU's home town of Allendale, Michigan. A recap of the day's events along with final results will be posted to BallStateSports.com at the conclusion of the competition.
Both the men and women will compete on Saturday. The Ball State men secured a victory against Eastern Illinois the last time out while the women fell to conference foe Akron.
The Cardinals and Lakers last met just a season ago in Muncie when the men and women split results on the day. The women came out victorious with a score of 164-136 while the men dropped a 108-184 decision. The women completed that competition with 10 first-place finishes while the men secured four.
Ball State will be looking to gain some momentum as it heads into the three-day Miami Invitational which is its last competition until the spring semester. The invitational will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1 in Oxford, Ohio.
