Men’s Tennis Competes At ITA Ohio Valley Regionals

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Ball State men's tennis team continued fall play with its second tournament of the season at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regionals Thursday at the University of Tennessee.
In singles action, the lone Cardinal to win his match was junior Marko Guzina after he took down Austin Peay's Almantas Ozelis in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Marko Guzina continues in the winners bracket and will take on Zac Brodney from Indiana Friday, who currently owns a national ranking of 19. Conner Andersen put up a good fight in today's singles competition but lost in three sets to Butler's Mason Dragos.
Thibault de Negri, Nemanja Guzina, Chris Adams and Danilo Kovacevic also competed at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals but would each lose in their respective matches.
The Ball State men's tennis team will continue action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals Friday where Marko Guzina will try to advance in the main draw.
