Women’s Basketball to Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day (#NGWSD) on Feb. 7

MUNCIE, Ind. – The surging Ball State women's basketball team hosts Eastern Michigan inside Worthen Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m., and the Cardinals want young women taking part in sports to be there on a special day!

Free admission will be granted to all girls 13 and under wearing any type of sports uniform.

This year marks the 32nd Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) (#NGWSD). It's a day to celebrate the extraordinary achievements in girls' and women's sports and the positive influence athletic participation brings to their lives. NGWSD recognizes the ongoing effort towards equality and access for women in sports and the nation's commitment to expand sport and participation opportunities for all girls and future generations.

Gates open at 6 p.m., and young fans can show their sports uniforms to the staff inside the Stoops Buick/GMC Ticket Center to redeem the free admission. Call 888-BSU-TICKET for more information.
