Both Swim and Dive Teams Travel to Indianapolis This Weekend

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will travel to down to Indianapolis Friday, Jan. 5 to kick off the second half of their seasons. The women's team will be taking on IUPUI, Xavier and University of Indianapolis at 6 p.m. The men's team will battle IUPUI and Xavier.

- Audrey Schank sits at 13th in the Mid-American Conference with a time of 56.29 in the 100 backstroke.
- Anne Vormohr is also in the conference top 16 in the 100 backstroke at 56.90. Vormohr set this time to place her in 15th in the conference at the mid-season invitational.
- Rachel Bertram is currently fourth in the conference in the 1-meter with a score of 288.90. Bertram is fifth in the conference in the 3-meter dive with a score of 292.65.
- Amanda Kedzierski leads the team in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.94, which places her at second place in school history.
- Ben Andrew is 16th in the conference with a time of 46.78 in the 100 freestyle. Andrew is also in the conference top 16 in the 100 butterfly (eighth, 50.10) and in the 200 IM (ninth, 1:52.86).
- The Cardinals have two athletes in the top 16 in the MAC in the 1650 freestyle. Isaac Walling is 15th at 16:32.00 with Davis Meyn right behind him in 16th with a time of 16:33.82.
- Logan Ackley sits in the 12th place spot in the 200 backstroke after setting a time of 1:51.35 at the mid-season invitational.
- Also at the mid-season invitational, Cullen Tyler marked a time of 2:03.84 in the 200 breaststroke which places him seventh in the conference.
- In the 1-meter dive, Ball State has three in the MAC top 16. Sean Wolfe is 12th with a score of 240.28 with Gabe Dean in 15th (197.10) and Trey Matheis in 16th (172.35).
