- Ball State finished non-conference action with an 11-0 mark for the first time in program history.
- The Cardinals remain one of 13 teams nationally that have suffered only one loss this season.
- Ball State has earned Power 5 conference wins this season over - Vanderbilt (88-79) and Purdue (66-60). The Cardinals have also earned victories over Big East opponent Butler (87-75) and Conference USA Western Kentucky (93-81).
- The Cardinals have scored at least 80-plus points in seven out of their 11 games.
- Ball State ranks 37th nationally in the latest RPI which is the highest ranking among Mid-American Conference teams.
- The Cardinals have four wins over top 100 RPI Teams - Western Kentucky (33 RPI), Purdue (51 RPI), Butler (79 RPI) and Cleveland State (98 RPI).
- Junior guard Carmen Grande ranks second nationally in assists per game (9.8 apg) and fifth in total assists (117).
- The 11 games in a row was the second largest win streak in program history (12 in 2008-09 which included the win over Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament).
- Five players are averaging double figures Moriah Monaco (17.0), Destiny Washington (12.7), Carmen Grande (12.2), Jasmin Samz (11.5) and Frannie Frazier (10.5).
- Ball State fell to Central Michigan 69-65 Saturday in its Mid-American Conference opener for the Cardinals first loss of the season. The Cardinals has their worst shooting performance of the season 37 percent (23-of-61) from the field. Senior forward Moriah Monaco led the Cardinals in scoring with 17 points.
- Wednesday's game against Miami will mark the 66th time in program history the two schools have met with the Cardinals leading the all-time series 45-20. The last time Ball State defeated Miami was last season in Oxford by a score of 81-60 on Feb. 4. Under the direction of Brady Sallee the Cardinals are 6-0 against the RedHawks from 2013-present.
- Miami is paced by Lauren Dickerson, who averages 21.3 ppg and 3.9 rpg. Behind Dickerson is Kendall McCOY who is currently averaging 9.8 ppg and 5.8 rpg.
- The RedHawks are led by head coach Megan Duffy who is in her first season at Miami. Prior to Miami, Duffy spent the last three seasons as an assistant for Michigan.
- Miami is a much improved team from last season, the RedHawks hold a 9-3 record heading into tonight's contest and a 1-0 MAC mark after defeating Northern Illinois Saturday at home by a score of 67-65. Miami is on a seven-game win streak and has not lost since Nov. 24. Ball State and Miami's only common opponent this season is Purdue. The RedHawks lost to the Boilermakers 75-66 on Nov. 15 in West Lafayette.
