2017 MAC Football Media Day Heads to Pro Football Hall of Fame

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) will host its 2017 Football Media Day this Wednesday, July 26 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The MAC Football Media Day kicks off the 2017 season, which officially begins with three season-opening games on Thursday, Aug. 31, and concludes with the 2017 Marathon MAC Football Championship Game at Ford Field in Detroit.
Joining Dr. Jon Steinbrecher, the MAC Commissioner, will be head coaches from all 12 member institutions and two students from each university. Representing Ball State at media day will be head coach Mike Neu along with senior offensive lineman Vinnie Palazeti and junior running back James Gilbert.
Fans can catch interviews with all of the league's head coaches on ESPN3. Coach Neu is slated to have his interview air at 12:19 p.m. Click here to watch the ESPN3 broadcast.
BallStateSports.com will give Cardinal fans the chance to get the thoughts from coach Neu and the players via Facebook Live. We will have Gilbert and Palazeti available at noon and coach Neu at 1 p.m. Fans can submit questions on Facebook or on Twitter using the hashtag, #MACMediaCards.

The 2017 MAC Football Media Day changed locations from Ford Field in Detroit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton due to construction at Ford Field. The annual MAC Football Media Day will return to Ford Field in 2018.
Ball State kicks off the 2017 season at Illinois on Sept. 2. The home opener is slated for Saturday, Sept. 9 against UAB. Season ticket purchases can be made on-line at BallStateSports.com. (CLICK HERE).
