Women’s Golf Wraps up Day 1 at IU Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Kelsey Sear led the Ball State women's golf team with a pair of 77's Saturday at the IU Invitational.

The Cardinals posted a 36-hole team score of 633 (+57). They are eighth on the leaderboard with one round left to play at the Indiana University Golf Course.

The host Hoosiers lead the way at 589 (+13), followed by Western Michigan (+22) and Toledo (+27). Western Michigan's Anna Wilcoxson holds the individual lead at 2 under par.

Sear leads Ball State in 19th place with a score of 154 (+10). Manon Tounalom (+13) is next for the Cardinals in a tie for 25th.

The tournament's final round will be played Sunday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
