MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (13-10) swept IU Southeast (10-10) in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center.

The Cardinals took both doubles points from the Grenaiders in today's match up, sweeping all six courts over IU Southeast. At the No. 3 position, Jan Jirus and Matt Helm, who typically don't play together, earned a 6-2 win to start the day and then finished off with a 6-3 decision in the afternoon cap.

In singles action, Ball State took 11 of the 12 matches from IU Southeast. Andrew Stutz registered a 2-0 mark on the top court after defeating Brock Winchell 6-0, 6-3 in the first competition before earning a 6-0, 6-0 defeat over Garrett Fensler in the second match. Nemanja Guzina, Jan Jirus, Tom Carney and Matt Helm all ended today's competition with 2-0 wins on their respective courts.

The Ball State men's tennis team will return to Mid-American Conference action Friday on the road at Buffalo and will then close conference play at Binghamton Sunday before the Mid-American Conference Tournament begins in Kalamazoo, Mich.
