Football's Friday Practice Called Off; Saturday Scrimmage Update

MUNCIE, Ind. – Due to thunderstorms and heavy rain in the Muncie area, the Ball State football team canceled its Friday afternoon practice. The Cardinals will return to the field Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
Saturday morning's scrimmage will mainly be a situational scrimmage. The coaching staff will take time to go through various in-game scenarios and special teams situations during the first hour of the scrimmage. There will be an approximate 30-play tempo segment towards the end of the scrimmage, but the scrimmage will not include full tackling or referees.
