Football Heads to MAC Media Day; Listen LIVE Online

Detroit, Mich. -- Ball State football officially rings in 2016 Thursday, visiting the same place it hopes to finish the year. Mid-American Conference Media Day begins the lead-up to the season at Detroit's Ford Field, home of the NFL's Lions and the MAC football championship game. The day's events will be broadcast live with an audio stream on BallStateSports.com (Noon - 3pm) and video on ESPN3 (Noon - 2pm).
Each of the 12 MAC teams are represented at the event, with each delegation sending its head coach and two players to meet the media. The Cardinals will be represented by Mike Neu and two of their four senior captains, linebacker Sean Wiggins and receiver KeVonn Mabon. The league's official preseason media poll will also be released Thursday.
Fans can follow along with the BallStateSports.com live stream, "MAC Media Day LIVE presented by Team Ball State," at the following link. Joel Godett will be live in Detroit interviewing coaches and athletes from each of the teams on the Card's schedule, Coordinator of Officials Bill Carollo and, in years past, with MAC Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher.

Finally, a broadcast will also be produced by ESPN3, available here. Michael Reghi hosts the annual broadcast that will also feature coaches and athletes from each school.
The Cardinals report to Muncie for fall camp next Wednesday before their first practice beings their 2016 preparations on Thursday, August 4th at 2:30pm. Practices are free and open to the public.
