Women's Tennis Earns 6-1 Road Win At BGSU

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team continues to dominate in Mid-American Conference action with its 6-1 win at Bowling Green Sunday afternoon at Keefe Courts. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 19-3 overall which is a program record and 6-1 in league action.
In doubles play, the duo of Isabelle Dohanics and Rosalinda Calderon were the first doubles tandem off the court after defeating Bowling Green's Marina Ferrero and Antonina Farrar, 6-2. Carmen Blanco paired up with doubles partner Bethany Moore on court two for a 6-2 victory over Polina Radeva and Leeah Floyd, clinching the doubles point for Ball State.
The Cardinals would then claim victories on courts four, five, six, three and two in straight sets with Bethany Moore recording the fourth and final point for Ball State. She would take down Bowling Green's Ferrero, 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 6 singles position.
The Ball State women's tennis team end its 2016 Mid-American Conference season when it hosts Toledo Saturday at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center, weather permitting. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
