Five From Men's Volleyball Earn All-Conference Honors

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association has announced the All-MIVA selections for the 2016 season. As selected by the nine head coaches in the conference, Brendan Surane and Matt Walsh were named to All-MIVA Second Team, while Hiago Garchet, Mitch Weiler and Adam Wessel earned Honorable Mention accolades.
It was the first time that each of the five Cardinals earned All-Conference honors, although Surane earned MIVA Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions, while Walsh was named MIVA Defensive Player of the Week once earlier this season. It was also the first time that there was an Honorable Mention category for the award.

Looking ahead, the Cardinals will welcome McKendree to Worthen Arena on Saturday, April 16 for the first round of the MIVA Tournament. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m.
