Lindley, Adamson Pace Women?s Golf in Arizona

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Allison Lindley led Ball Sate with a round of 75 (+3) Friday on the opening day of the Rio Verde Invitational.
Kayla Adamson added a 76 as the Cardinals posted a team score of 311 on the White Wing Course at Rio Verde Country Club. They also counted a pair of 80s from Kelsey Sear and Sydney Anderson.
Ball State is 16th as a team through one round. Bradley and Toledo lead the way at 298, while Northern Arizona is one shot back and Wichita State and Eastern Michigan are two back.
Lindley (T-19) and Adamson (T-32) are the top Cardinals on the individual leaderboard. A trio of players is tied for first at 71 (-1) -- Xavier's Hanna Lee, Bradley's Danielle Lemek and Wichita State's Gavrilla Arya.
The second round begins Saturday with an 8 a.m. start, and the final round will be played Sunday. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
