The Cardinals Nest
- The Ball State women's basketball team returns to the road Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tipoff at Central Michigan in a battle for the top spot for the Mid-American Conference West Division. The Chippewas are currently in first place with an 11-3 MAC ledger while Ball State and Toledo are tied with a 10-4 league mark. The Cardinals currently win the head-to-head tie breaker over the Rockets because Ball State defeated Toledo earlier this season. Ball State will face Toledo for the second time in its last MAC regular season game on March 5 in Toledo, Ohio. The Cardinals lost their first meeting to the Chippewas by a score of 74-65 in Muncie on Feb. 10. Central Michigan is looking to bounce back from its 81-79 overtime loss to Toledo Saturday McGuirk Arena. After tonights contest, Ball State has three games remaining in the regular season at Eastern Michigan (Feb. 27) before returning home for senior night against Northern Illinois (March 2) and then at Toledo (March 5).

Worthen Arena with Ball State's only loss coming against Ohio (66-77) on Jan. 27, 2007. Ball State also posted a 14-1 mark at home in 2008-09 under former head coach Kelly Packard with the only loss coming against Temple.
