• Ball State hits the road for the first time in more than a month to wrap up its non-conference schedule at North Florida in the first ever meeting between the teams.

• North Florida is coming off a 78-54 loss at FIU. The Ospreys, who played in the NIT last year, have dropped eight of their past nine. Dallas Moore leads the team in scoring at 22.1 points per game.

• The Cardinals have won four games in a row, most recently defeating Alabama State 73-48 to wrap up a 5-1 home stand. Eight different Ball State players scored at least six points in the win, led by senior forward Franko House with 15.

• Ball State held a 46-34 advantage on the glass against Alabama State, marking the fourth time this season the Cardinals have outrebounded an opponent by double digits. BSU has been outrebounded in only one of its 12 games (Nov. 27 at Valparaiso).

• In two games last week, the Cardinals held their opponents to an average of 46.5 points on 33.3 percent shooting (37 of 111) and 14.6 percent from 3-point range (6 of 41).

• Ball State is the only team in the Mid-American Conference to rank in the top four in the league in both field goal percentage (.467, 3rd) and field goal percentage defense (.405, 3rd).

• The Cardinals are one of only two teams in the MAC with seven players averaging at least 7.0 points per game (Akron is the other). Jeremie Tyler is an eighth BSU player at 7.0 per game, but he has played in only two contests.

• Sophomore center Trey Moses is averaging a double-double over the past nine games at 10.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per contest.
