MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State football team hopes to play spoiler in the season finale when the Cardinals make the short trip to Miami to take on the Redhawks. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3 at 7 p.m.

Three Things to Know:
1. Ball State has won the last three meetings against Miami with the most recent game taking place in 2013. Miami, which has won five straight games, still has a shot to win the MAC East Division title. A Miami win will make the Redhawks bowl eligible.
2. Ball State ranks third in the Mid-American Conference in rushing yards per game (217.5). Meanwhile, Miami ranks second in the league in rushing defense (130.1) and first in total defense (347.5).
3. Senior WR KeVonn Mabon needs six more receptions to establish a new program record for career receptions. Dante Ridgeway (2002-04) currently holds the record with 238 receptions. Mabon ranks second in the MAC in receptions per game (6.7). He has averaged 8.0 receptions per game over the last four games.
By the Numbers:
3 – Ball State has three road wins in six tries this season. The Cardinals are averaging 25.5 points per game in road contests.
11 – The Cardinals equaled a season high with 11 third down conversions last week at Toledo. Ball State was 11-of-19 (57.9 percent) on third downs against the Rockets.
