Trio of Cardinals leads team in tie for 26th individually
LEADERBOARD
PORT CLINTON, Ohio -- The Ball State women's golf team sits ninth after the opening two rounds at Toledo's Rocket Classic.
The Cardinals posted rounds of 316 and 313 Monday for a 36-hole score of 629 (+53) at Catawba Island Club.
Western Michigan (+25) leads the 14-team field, followed by Eastern Kentucky (+31) in second and Toledo (+33) in third.
Ball State golfers Allison Lindley, Kelsey Sear and Manon Tounalom all finished the tournament's first day with identical scores of 157 (+13). They are tied for 26th place individually. Sydney Anderson is one stroke behind them in a tie for 31st.
Western Michigan's Julia Champion holds the individual lead by two shots at 2 over par.
