- The Ball State women's basketball team returns home for a mid-week match up against Mid-American Conference West Division rival Eastern Michigan Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Worthen Arena. The game will be televised on ESPN3. Ball State is 12-4 overall and leads the MAC West Division with a 4-1 conference ledger. Eastern Michigan enters tonight's contest with an overall mark of 12-4 and a 3-2 record in league action.
- Freshman guard Carmen Grande scored a personal best 18 points at Bowling Green last Saturday afternoon in a win over the Falcons. Ball State's women's basketball coach Brady Sallee won his 200th game as the Cardinals defeated Bowling Green 67-56. The Cardinals' had five players in double figures; Grande (18), Jill Morrison (13), Nathalie Fontaine (12), Renee Bennett (10) and Moriah Monaco (10). Fontaine led Ball State defensively with 12 rebounds for her 27th career double-double.
-The last time Ball State went 8-0 at home was in 2006-07 under former head women's basketball coach Tracy Roller. That season the Cardinals went 10-1 in John E. Worthen Arena with Ball State's only loss coming against Ohio (66-77) on Jan. 27, 2007.
- Head coach Brady Sallee emphasis how important points in the paint mean to him and the Cardinals have listened this season. Ball State has outscored all of their opponents in the paint but four this season. - Ball State head women's basketball coach Brady Sallee reached his 200th career win at Bowling Green, Jan. 16. Sallee currently owns a 200-160 (.554) career record. Sallee owns a 64-51 (.556) record at Ball State and ranks second all-time in wins. Former head coach Tracy Roller (2001-08) ranks first with a 118-73 record.
- Senior guard Nathalie Fontaine broke the Ball State women's basketball single-game scoring record after a career-high 43-point performance in the Cardinals 73-53 victory at Evansville, Dec. 21. Fontaine becomes the first Cardinal in 12 years to break the single-game scoring record, which was held by former women's basketball player Tama Bowie (1999-2003). Bowie scored 40 points twice, once in 2003 and in 2001. Fontaine's 43-points was the most scored in the Ford Center since it opened in 2011.
