Four Women?s Golfers Named Academic All-MAC

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's golf team placed four student-athletes on the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team released Tuesday.
May graduate Jenna Hague was named to the team for the third consecutive year and was joined on the squad by juniors Karley Dobis and Meghan McDougall and sophomore Kelsey Sear.
Hague recently earned her bachelor's degree in finance with a 3.583 GPA. She finished her standout career tied for the MAC record with six career tournament victories and second in school history with a 77.22 career stroke average.
McDougall owns a 3.821 GPA as a history major, while Dobis carries a 3.737 mark as a telecommunications major. Sear has a 3.338 GPA in finance and was one of only two Ball State women's golfers, along with Hague, to compete in every event this season.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To be named to the team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
