Justice Earns Academic All-MAC Honors

MUNCIE, Ind. - Shelbie Justice of the Ball State women's basketball team has been named to the 2015 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, as voted by faculty athletic representatives at MAC institutions.
Justice helped the Cardinals to a 17-14 overall mark, a 13-5 conference record and the program's first Mid-American Conference West Division title since 2009. Justice also played a vital role in Ball State's third postseason Women's National Invitation Tournament appearance.
Justice ended her career at Ball State ranked first all-time in game started (122) and games played (128), 20th in scoring (1,067), second in minutes played (3,929), sixth in three-point field goals made (160), eighth in three-point field goal attempts (447) and 22nd in rebounding (462).
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
