Andersen & Elliott Named MAC Doubles Weekly Honor

MUNCIE, Ind. - For the first time this season, the Ball State men's tennis team No. 1 doubles tandem of Lucas Andersen and Patrick Elliott were named the Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.
Andersen and Elliott helped the Cardinals to an early 1-0 lead over Illinois State last Saturday after posting a 6-4 win on court one over the Redbirds Jakub Eisner and Rolando Torrellas. The doubles point eventually resulted in a 4-3 victory for Ball State over Illinois State. Andersen and Elliott have won four of their last seven matches together and have improved to 10-5 on the season.
The Ball State men's tennis team begins Mid-American Conference play Friday at 1 p.m. in Toledo.
