Track & Field Closes Meyo Invite With 3 Career Bests

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - - The Ball State indoor track & field team concluded action in the Meyo Invitational with three career-best performances Saturday afternoon at Notre Dame's Loftus Sports Center.
With limited student-athletes in action on the final day of the two-day non-scored event, the Cardinals' best performances came in the 400m dash with junior Danielle Dahl (Chelsea, Mich./Chelsea) and senior Rebecca Lomax (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) each collected a personal best. Dahl finished 63rd with a time of 58.26, while Lomax placed 72nd in 59.73.
Dahl would also place 52nd in the 800m run with a time of 2:15.72. Ball State's final career best effort also came in the 800m run, with junior Becca Kropf (Goshen, Ind./Fairfield) crossing the line in 2:18.13.
The Ball State indoor track & field team returns to action next Saturday, when it travels to Purdue for the Fred Wilt Invitational.
