All-Access: Ussery's Long Road to Worthen
February 26, 2015 | Women's Basketball
Candyce Ussery transfered to Ball State after the fall semester of 2012. Coming from a Big 10 school in Indiana, Ussery brought high hopes with her to Muncie. But it would take nearly 700 days for the point guard to see the court. First there was the redshirt year for transfering, followed by not one, but two dreaded black lines.
Check out this exclusive feature from Ball State All-Access to find out more about what a dreaded black line is, how rare it is to have two of them, and how Ussery persevered to return to the hardwood.
Ball State is next in action on the road this weekend against Western Michigan. The Cardinals return home for senior day against Toledo Saturday, March 7th.
