Women?s Swim & Dive Awarded Fall Scholar All-America

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State swim and dive team finished with the third best grade point average for the fall semester out of all Division I women's programs, as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Tuesday morning. The Cardinals' team GPA was a 3.58.
The Fall Team Scholar All-America award is given to college and university swim and dive teams who have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.
Clemson and Eastern Illinois both finished with 3.59 grade point averages and just in front of Ball State's third ranked finish with a 3.58 GPA. The University of Alabama and the University of Evansville followed the Cardinals with a 3.55 GPA, while Mid-American Conference foe Bowling Green finished in sixth with a 3.54.
