
Two Women?s Swimmers Complete Winter Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ball State women's swimming and diving team had two participants in the Ohio State Winter Invitational, a two day event taking place Saturday and Sunday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. Both freshmen Morgan Brebberman and Kaiti Sullivan swam in four events, posting five new season best times.
Sullivan earned second in the 100 breast with a new season best time of 1:06.75, along with a third place finish in the 200 breast at 2:25.68. Sullivan shaved two seconds off her 200 IM from a preliminary time of 2:18.50 to 2:16.59 in the championship round, and competed in the 100 freestyle for the first time this season, turning in a time of 56.32.
Maumee, Ohio native Brebberman turned in two new season best times when she touched the wall at 5:13.92 in the 500 freestyle, and at 59.86 in the 100 backstroke. Brebberman rounded out her weekend of competition with finishing times of 1:58.01 and 18.18.57 in the 200 free and 1650 free, respectively.
The Ball State women's swimming and diving team will be back in action when they compete in the Mid-American Conference Championship from Feb. 25-28 in Ypsilanti, Mich.
